WOYWW

This week there are a couple of things on my work desk, one completed painting and one WIP.

Here are a series of pictures of the different stages of the girl on the right.

I started with gouache and watercolour

.Then added some oil pastel.

Then I added some more gouache and watercolour and finished off with some more oil pastel.

Hope you like her.

Why not pop over and take a look at other peoples desk's by clicking on the badge in the sidebar.

Thanks for visiting. x

  2. Gorgeous girl and I like seeing how you have built up the layers. I have just started watercolours and learning about gouache, actually I bought it and it sits in my cupboard!!

  3. I loved seeing the stages as she developed. The tilt of her head suggests aloofness, to me anyway.Does she reflect a mood or character of yourself? Be well Carole #68

  8. I would so love to know how to do faces like this. I work in acrylics and mixed media but have never attempted a face....something for 2014 I reckon! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  10. Beautiful artwork as always, Fuzzie! This lass has such a beautiful expression. Are you still painting with your non-dominant hand? If so, this is even more outstanding... Hope your thumb is improving now.

Thanks for your visit, and I laughed at the idea of me being organised! I used to be, but these days my OCD tendencies only raise their ugly heads once in a blue moon lol! The desk looked pretty organised on the WOYWW photo but the rest of the room is chaos, with drying teabags everywhere. I want to get back to those pretty soon, and get the sewing machine going, but I've got to do more work on the album first.

Bad health day today with nothing creative achieved. Slept on the recliner while "watching" Chariots of Fire most of the afternoon! I'll be better again tomorrow.

    Happy WOYWW,

  14. Hi Fuzzie, love your girl, she looks as though a lot is going on inside that pretty head!! I am always impressed that people can draw, especially faces, as I am a disaster with a pencil. Annette #6
