In Miniature,

Thanks to Diana over at Velvet Moth Studio, I have found a wonderful challenge over at Paper Artsy. The current topic is 'Miniature Art'.

I took a look and decided it would be fun to join in. If you follow the link above you can read all about it and see a short video with lots of ideas and maybe you will be inspired to join in too.

I decided to do a mini portrait. It is 2x2 inches so I suppose you could call it a 'twinchie'.

I used a piece of cardboard and added scrim, modelling paste and gesso as a base. I then used acrylics, watercolour pencils and charcoal pencil.

WHY NOT FOLLOW THE LINKS ABOVE
AND SEE SOME MORE MINIATURE ART.

  3. This is great, Fuzzie. A little gem. I love your use of scrim and gesso as a background, producing such a delicious texture. Once my mojo returns, this is a technique I am keen to try.
