What is on my work desk?
Not a lot..........

I sat down at my desk  today with good intentions.

First off I wanted to create a print for framing from my autumnal mono prints. Seen here. I used a mount board frame to isolate parts of my print and this is the best I could come up with. There are lots of leaf prints that I like but nothing that made up something suitable for framing.

I then thought I would do some mark making with autumnal colours in the hopes of creating some papers to use together with the prints.  However things just wouldn't come together today and after I cut up the A2 sized paper I decided just to keep this small assortment. Non of which are compatible with my prints.

Oh well we all have our off days.

  1. Yes we do all have those days - but put the 'not right' bits to one side and I'm sure they will find themselves into other things further on down the line - well that's what I tell myself (got lots of 'em) x Jackie #21

  2. I love autumn designs and colours - especially when there's that dash of fuchsia, icy blue, or purple in with the deep reds, oranges and greens....
    They are simply beautiful.
    Have a happy Wednesday

  3. I love your artwork! The color combination you used is beautiful!

  4. So frustrating when you finally have time to get creative and things won't come together! Deep breath and move on! Ali #4

  5. I like them! I had an 'off' day yesterday - nothing I seemed to do went right. I struggled with everything creatively - even the dinner I made that night! Glad THAT day is over.

  6. What nice works of art. Very impressive - loving the fall colors. April #39

  7. Yeah, some days are like that........ :-/ Tomorrow will be better!

  8. Well thats a very beautiful off day to have, i find if i put things away and go back in a month or so i feel different about them...worth a try. Glad to hear i'm not the only one who has a book ritual xx

  9. We do indeed all have our days. Here's to getting the inspiration you want/need. I think the art is lovely, but it's not what you want. I get that.

  10. Maybe not what you wanted, but you did sit down and do what you love.Vicky(#20)
