A little Tea Bag

Hi

I have been surrounded by Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls recently as I am trying out

some designs for a wedding hair vine for my daughter.

However I took some time out today to do some art on a teabag.
After opening it up and discarding the tea I folded it up again so it still looked like a teabag.

I used graphite pencil and oil pastels.

I have so been looking forward to Spring so I thought I would bring some indoors

for this Easter Weekend.

I love Tulips.

Hi

I have been spending a lot of time lately soaking up inspiration from You Tube videos.

Something I came across was an extension to the colouring book craze.

I have been watching some videos on creating fun journal pages using artwork from colouring books.

I only own one colouring book and the pictures in it do not appeal to me

as they are filled with such intricate patterns.

However I came across a colouring book by Juliette Crane called Big Monster.

It is filled with black and white drawings of her imaginative characters for you to colour.

This book is now the next one on my list of must haves.

Inspired by her drawings I did a page in my art journal yesterday

using only Stabilo All Pencil and a water brush.

Hope you like her.

Hi

Still suffering with this virus. Just can't get rid of it.

Since my last post I have also had an ear ache which is still no better after a week.

So I apologise to my blog friends for not visiting.  I just can't get my brain in gear to leave comments.

Thank you to my friends who have left their Get Well wishes.

So while trying to balance a hot water bottle on my ear I managed a little sketch yesterday.

Hope you like her.

Hi

I have been absent, yet again, feeling under the weather with a virus that just won't shift.

I haven't felt up to doing much at all.

Just this one oil pastel sketch.
