I have been watching a lot of reviews on coloured pencils recently and wanted to try out these Derwent pencils.
Derwent Drawing pencils are a coloured pencils with a thicker core and are a really soft creamy pencil.
They come in 24 beautifully subtle colours.
I used a combination of these and my other pencils for this colored pencil drawing.
Then I went crazy and did another oil pastel drawing in my moleskine sketchbook.
Not that much attention to detail on her dress but that was just the mood I was in. Lol!
And I don't know why she has a fish on her head !!!

She's cute! Does it matter why she has a fish on her head? It adds to her mystery.....lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work - I adore the fish on her head, it just works! I have one or two Derwent pencils and they really are lovely to use aren't they.
ReplyDeleteOh so adorable with the fish on her head and the other is so pretty! I have the large boxes of blocks and pencils..but haven't really experimented enough. I have used them with my acrylics. I love the black to outline and add water for a bit of depth. Can't wait to see even more!
