WOYWW 359

Hi
.

It's Wednesday again and I have another journal page to share.

I have been working on tea bags and my Dylusions Journal

recently as the overhaul on my art room had come to a stand still.

However I have just finished it and next week for WOYWW

I will actually be working at my desk.

As I said I have been working in my Journal and the paper in there is not

watercolour paper so it has been pilling ( I think that is the word).

Now that I can get back into my art room I can break out the 140lb watercolour paper.

The face of the girl on the left is a bit overworked but I still like her.

Linking this to WOYWW.

Playing with Colour

Hi

If you saw my last post you will have seen that I was hoping to win a

a place on one of Juliette Cranes mini courses.

Unfortunately I was not the lucky winner.

I have never taken an on-line art course, I have been tempted, but my 'technophobe' tendencies get in

the way of me taking the plunge.

I am such a PROCRASTINATOR.

I enjoyed the journal page that I did in my last post in Juliettes style,

So much so, that I have done another.

In the past I have shied away from using water colour but in these last two pages

I have been trying them out together with my Portfolio oil pastels

and I am loving working in these bright colours.

I have been doing some research on-line and there are a couple of water colour sets

that I have got my eye on.

My wish list of materials just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you like these new look girls.

I would love to hear what you think of them.

Untitled

Hi

One of my favourite artists is Juliette Crane and she has a new online workshop called

  Wild and Free Painting.

You can find out all about it and watch her inspirational video over on her blog.

And if you help to spread the word you could be in with a chance to win a free place.

I have done this page in my journal in Juliette's style.

I used Portfolio oil pastel, stabilo all pencil and, unusually for me, water colour  for the background.

I am joining in with WOYWW. Why not pop over to see what people are working on this week.

I also just wanted to share this photo of a daisy I picked while out walking the dogs today.

I think the daisy is so pretty in its simplicity.

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to spread the word about Juliette Cranes new workshop.

Tea Bag Art

Hi

I am working small at the moment as my art room is still in disarray.

And you can't get much smaller than a tea bag.
