Drawing Faces

I have been wanting to add faces to my artwork for a while now but been hesitant about it.

I have been looking at the faces that Dina Wakley has been posting on her blog and decided to just grab a scrap of paper and a charcoal pencil and scribble down a face. I decided to take the plunge and record my journey of drawing faces and hopefully, with practice, you will see an improvement .

Face#1

I have not gone in and perfected it. I have just left it as it was first drawn.

Thanks for visiting and  your comments are very welcome.

Bye for now x

  2. That's a great face - doesn't look like you'll have much trouble adding them to your work if that's the standard you've started at! Keep up the good work - I'm looking forward to seeing more faces from you!

  3. Excellent artwork! I have found lots of Youtube vids on how to draw mixed media faces, and I particularly like Jennibellie's work - not just her faces but all her recycled art, and her bubbly personality!

Thanks for your visit - I've really missed being in Blogland and now that Mum's house sale is in the bag and we have 3 months to pack up all our stuff, I am hoping to be back on here more often. There's no point in getting worked up over the vaguaries of solicitors - we've just got to be patient and believe it will all go through in the end! At least our builder is prepared to be patient, and work should start as soon as we complete.

Glad you like my latest Zentangle! I'm looking forward to tackling the other box. I love how the colours came out all muted on the coloured card.
