First thing in the morning I sit down to my breakfast cereal and log in to my blog to peruse the list of my favourite blogs latest posts. But yesterday there was a change to what I saw. No List! just a one and only post of whoever has posted last. Underneath it says 'view more' but when I click on it, guess what
happens ?....Nothing.
I went searching for the blogger forum and saw that others are having the same problem. Are any of you having this problem? It is so annoying!! I have to individually search my favourite blogs to see if they have posted and I am afraid of missing anything Lol.
Anyway...... This weeks colours for Summer of Colour are Lavender, Grey and a touch of Plum. Here is my offering for this week.
acrylic & charcoal pencil on watercolour paper
I have been experimenting with a palette knife on my figures to try and achieve a more of a 'loose' look. Here I used it on her hair and her lips. Her face is left unpainted.
Thank you all, once again, for the lovely comments I have been receiving. They mean a lot.
Thanks for visiting. x
She's adorable and I think your palette knife experiment worked out well in her hair! It looks very nicely textured. I only ever use mine for paint mixing, lol :)
ReplyDeleteI think I read on another blog someone had the same thing happen to her. It hasn't happened to me but as I mostly use my phone for Internet surfing I use blog lovin as you can subscribe to your favourite blogs that way and then they email you with updates when any one posts. I still don't get round them all but it's a much better way to have them all in one place! I like your lady in the colours-her hair is fab. I'm a big fan of palette knives having just stated using them recently too. X
ReplyDeleteYou have used the colours beautifully here, she looks great with that lively plum hair and sweet plum lips. Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteGreat little portrait of the purple-haired girl. Thanks for visiting my SOC post.

All have this problem as it seems - I tranferred my blogger list to blogconnect long time ago because I had always problems with my dashboard list in blogger ...you can also use bloglovin ..there is a tool there to easily transport your blogger favourite blogs to this portals ...
I list my most favourite blogs to my personal blog and to the AJJ blog ..and visit them through the sidebar..always to see there if anybody had posted - and I subscribed via Email to the absolutely beloved blogs to never miss an important post .
love the plum-colored hair. cute drawing.
ReplyDelete& yes, I have the same blogger problem. I'm thinking of switching to bloglovin but I don't seem like that either. I guess I'll wait to see if it gets fix or simply just visit blogs directly. that's what people use to do in the old days before reader. wow! now I feel old.
have a great day.
LOVE purple girl!
ReplyDeleteShe's an adorable one. You did well with the palette knife, I think. I've wanted to try that as well, but never get as far as to do it. The bugs are gone from my list now.
ReplyDeleteShe is wonderful Carol!! And I totally love her hair! Think a little shorter and It's just like mine was a few months ago. Now I'm 'normal' but still, with bright red tips :) I love her eyes, they're so pretty and her dress is lovely. Of course it is, it's purple AND spotty :D
