WOYWW #300

This week see's the 300th WOYWW and a big thanks goes out to our host Julia for giving us the opportunity to share what is on our desks each week with other like-minded people around the world.

There is not too much going on on my desk this week. I have just been playing around with some paint, Brusho Sprays and homemade stamps to create some random patterns for some collage papers.




I know that you who are visiting here today for WOYWW may want to rush off to do the rounds to see other people desks and don't want to get held up by reading a long post (well not too long).  If that is you then THANK YOU for stopping by I really appreciate it.

For those of you who would like to read on, I would be grateful for your opinion on something.

There is another open exhibition at a local gallery and I am planning on submitting two of my mixed media paintings but I can't decide between these three.

    Definitely a difficult decision to make. I guess my favorite 2 are "Daydreamer" and "Sisters". Happy WOYWW!

    Ooh that's tough but I think for me it has to be 'Sisters' because I'm butterfly obsessed, and 'Day Dreamer' because I'm totally in tune with the colours of it. I probably haven't helped have I?!!

    I agree it's difficult to choose, but I would also choose Sisters and All Dressed Up.

    Lots of opinions and you will probably still be finding it difficult to choose Carol, lol. My choice is Daydreamer and All Dressed Up ~ they will be happy going together and the sisters still have each other. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it, lol (hugs) :o) x

    All gorgeous, Fuzzie. The trouble with me is that if I create a nice background, I never want to use it for anything! I love your exhibition pieces too.

    Thanks for your lovely comment. We are hoping there won't be any further mishaps and 18th will go through OK, because I don't think I could go through all that again!

    That is really a hard one. I like daydreamer and sisters but the texture on all dressed up is really interesting. However for the expressions on the faces daydreamer and sisters are my picks.
    Good luck with the show, whichever ones you pick.

    I can see your dilemma... I suggest daydreamer and all dressed up mainly because they are very different to each other where as sisters is similar to daydreamer .... Just my opinion they are all lovely ...... Good luck

    I love all dressed up best...then its hard to decide. Maybe sisters because it is different and people may relate to the subject. Perhaps buying it as a present. I always wonder the reasons why people buy my paintings and the stories behind their decision. Perhaps that's just me! Anyway they are all beautiful and am sure will be much appreciated. Are brusho sprays water resistant? I usually use cosmic sprays but am always eager to use anything new :)

    What fun the textures you are making must be!
    As for your pictures. . .I love, love, love the first one and if I had to pick between the other two, I'd pick Sisters.
    They are all three amazing in their own way though. You definitely have some talent! Best of luck.
