WOYWW

This is how my desk is looking this Wednesday.

After the frustration I eluded to in Monday's post I went on to work on the next two pages in My Dylusions Journal.

Remember this is just play with no goal other than to see what appears on the page and maybe make some discoveries along the way.

I decided to stop there on the final page but not before putting another colour on my palette and discovered how nice these colours look together.

A starting point for my next page perhaps..............

Linking this post to WOYWW where you can see whats on other desks around the world.

THANKS FOR VISITING.

  1. Ooh yes those colours are gorgeous together. I also love the red, yellow and lime colour palette on your second page too - just gorgeous colours and they work so well together.

  4. Good for you, just playing ! I have a Dylusions journal but never seem to make time to play in it. Playing truly is learning. The color on the right reminds me of Martha Stewart's beach glass, one of my favorite paint colors. I hope you share more of this journal with us. Diane #43

  7. What fun this is, Fuzzie! I think we all NEED to do some pure play for play's sake sometimes - we can get so bogged down with projects with deadlines and things we think we "ought" to be doing lol! I am thinking of investing in some Dylusions paints because I read yesterday that you can write over them with pens, without the nibs clogging, which would be a huge bonus - I have wasted so many decent pens! The colours are incredible.

Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm glad you like my little naked wingless felt angel lol! He's quite a character and has stood up to his abuse very well, I think! I don't think I shall make a lot as the needle felting process takes so long, but I shall do a few. I got a packet of the hugest pipe cleaners in the post today - really long and fluffy, and this evening I started another angel, and managed to sculpt an acceptable face in needle felt which is quite pleasing. I hope to blog about it in a day or two.

    Happy WOYWW,

  9. What fun there is in playing in those journals, especially the Dyan ones as the paper quality is so good. Great to experiment with colour - love how your colours work. One hot hot hot and one cold. Look forward to seeing what you add to it.

  10. I think we all need a play journal! I love those colors! They look look like Martha Stewart's Beach Glass and Kiwi. I use both of these colors a lot in my painting journal. I also like that stencil, have not seen it before. Diane #39
