WOYWW 351

Hi

I have been working again in my large journal.

Once again I used oil pastel and this is how she started out.

She is larger than I usually work as her face covers most of this A4 page.

When working larger I tend to struggle getting the eyes to look the way I want them to.

After more work on he eyes and face this is how she is looking at the moment.

I think some more tweaking may be required.

I want to take this opportunity to send out a big

  THANK YOU

to all who have left  comments recently.

I love to hear your thoughts and I really do appreciate you taking the time to stop by.

  1. This is a lovely drawing, Fuzzie - she has a thoughtful expression. I love the shock of orange hair! Very cool.

  2. I love her glowing skin tone! I like using oil pastels too, but they get tricky when you want to put something on top. And I have to keep reminding myself not to hit them with a heat gun, yikes! Happy WOYWW zsuzsa #38

  5. I love looking at your work on your blog and it always reminds me that I should never be content (and dissatisfied) with my first attempt. I am hopeless at going over and over something but must learn to if I am to progress with my artwork.
    Thanks for sharing.
