Hi
I'm joining in the party this week over at Paint Party Friday.
As you will know, if you are a regular visitor to my blog, I have been working with coloured pencils a lot lately and recently I have been asking fellow bloggers what pencils they like to use. I want to say thank you to those of you who kindly left comments on the subject.
I wanted to invest in a set of artist quality pencils so after some consideration I decided to get a Prismacolor Premier Portrait set.
I used them for this drawing which is the last page of my coloured pencil sketchbook.
The portrait set was used for all but the dress.
I was really pleased with the end result. Now its time to make another sketch book.
Thanks for visiting.

Beautiful work, I love the prismacolour pencils, too. Happy PPF, Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI always love your cute, expressive girls.
ReplyDeleteI'm so beginner of drawing and painting that cannt answer. I've bought Derwent's inktense pencils. I was surprised that I can use them also with water.
Thanks for the comment.
Happy weekend xx
Looks fabulous! Have fun with your new set of wonderful colored pencils!

Your girl is so lovely Carol. You are quite expert with your pencils. Do you blend them at all? How did you learn to shade the skin tones? Have a great weekend :D
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet! I have several sets of pencils but they're the cheaper ones and they work good enough for the little bit I do with them:)
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing Carol. You are certainly mastering the coloured pencils!
