Today I have another one of my 'girls' to share with you.
mixed media on 5x5 sketchbook paper.
I applied a subtle painted background with a palette knife but I feel like it needs something else but I can't decide what. So, maybe it is finished or maybe I will return to it another time.
I am linking this post to Paint Paint Party Friday. Click on the badge in the side-bar to see more art from around the world.
Thanks for visiting. x
aw, the blue screen of death ... that sounds a bit worrying ... Hope you get it sorted out! Love the green touches in your girl, and the soft background.
ReplyDeleteShe has an interesting gaze; makes you wonder what she's thinking. She appears to be deep and warm spirited. I do like the shading on the face and neck and the pinks below the eyes and forehead.
ReplyDeleteshe's very pretty...i love the soft colors.
ReplyDeleteShe is lovel, and reminds me of my daughter when she was small. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI believe it is finished. I like the subtle background because it makes the lovely girl more prominent.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! What about a tiny white highlight in her eyes? I just love her face.
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely. I hope the computer "gets well soon." (what a pain.)
ReplyDeleteAs always, I love your girl! I hope the computer isn't terminal!
ReplyDeleteI'm on a slow one too...so frustrating because mine bit the dust a few weeks back...it's too hot upstairs on my pc so I feel ya girlfriend!! I agree with Beth about the little white on the eyes. She is gorgeous as is!! Hope you recoup your other computer... I am buying another very soon!

She is so sweet - perhaps hiding a hint of mischief!! Would be a lovely character for a children's book! I really like your work, Happy Paint Party Friday!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your other laptop!!
Oh. She's charming. Just the way the she is!
ReplyDeleteAnd best wishes with that laptop. We don't want your head exploding!
