Paint Party Friday

It's just a short post today as I am writing this post on my old laptop which literally has to warm up before you can get anything done on it and there is a long waiting time between every action so by now my head is about to explode. I'm taking my other laptop to the 'computer doctor' as apparently it has the 'blue screen of death'. Fingers crossed it doesn't take long to put right.

Today I have another one of my 'girls' to share with you.

I applied a subtle painted background with a palette knife but I feel like it needs something else but I can't decide what. So, maybe it is finished or maybe I will return to it another time.

    aw, the blue screen of death ... that sounds a bit worrying ... Hope you get it sorted out! Love the green touches in your girl, and the soft background.

    She has an interesting gaze; makes you wonder what she's thinking. She appears to be deep and warm spirited. I do like the shading on the face and neck and the pinks below the eyes and forehead.

    I believe it is finished. I like the subtle background because it makes the lovely girl more prominent.

    I'm on a slow one too...so frustrating because mine bit the dust a few weeks back...it's too hot upstairs on my pc so I feel ya girlfriend!! I agree with Beth about the little white on the eyes. She is gorgeous as is!! Hope you recoup your other computer... I am buying another very soon!

    She is so sweet and charming! Best of luck with the computer issue! There is nothing worse than sitting down to quickly take care of business - and poof - the computer is not working! Hope it is an easy fix :)
