This is what is on my desk this week.
Over the past week this little painting has gone through quite a few changes.
If you visited here on Friday you will have seen some of them but for those of you who may have missed it here is a few pics showing some of the different stages.
First a change of colour.
Then I changed it back again.
Then I gave her a big dress
Then a new hairdo.
And here she is finished.
The Gentle Wind
5x7 inch canvas board
Last week I said that I didn't like working on canvas board. However I might be changing my mind.

She's lovely and I love the dandelion clock blowing across - I wonder what she wished for.
ReplyDeleteI like canvas board - I prefer it to canvas anyway. Sturdier for my heavy handedness ;)

She has turned out really pretty! I love her big dress and red hair. (and demure facial expression), but most of all the dandelion seeds floating past her in the breeze. Did you draw them by hand?
