WOYWW

Hi

I still can't work in my art room so I am continuing to work on my lap.

I searched though my mono-prints to find a more interesting background than I have

been working on lately (which have been no backgrounds at all.)

I have great admiration for those artists that paint intuitively.

They can work on a background and then pick out figures that they 'see' and build on them.

I am not very good at it ,myself  but today  I found one.

This is what I came up with.

In my last post I showed the finished WIP from last Wednesday but for those of you who visited here

last week and missed it here it is once again.

  7. I don't seem to be able to find any figures in my backgrounds either. I do like how your eye uncovered the woman. so happy you included a photo of the completed. Just so sweet. Diane 70

  14. Such beautiful work - I love the canvas with that aged and distressed look, almost as if the figure is appearing from the past. I also love the litte winter twins - how cute are they - they look so soft and well wrapped up, just needing a warm cuddle!
