I've not joined in with WOYWW for a while owing to my blog break. Fortunately or unfortunately for WOYWW my desk has just had an overhaul so doesn't have a thing on it today but here is the latest piece I have been working on.
Charcoal pencil and paper on card

I've yet to venture using charcoal.
ReplyDeleteYou've done a brilliant piece. She's very interesting, the shading and that dress all add to a great design.

That's gorgeous, Fuzzie. Just the right balance between the face and the dress. She has a wistful expression.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment - my space has had a grand tidy out so looks better, at least for now! It's amazing how quickly it gets untidy again, mostly because I keep dumping stuff in there. Got to tackle the office next. As for the iron, it seems to be becoming a permanent fixture! I don't mind though.
Happy WOYWW,

That dress reminds me of my grandmother for some reason. Thanks for the nice memory! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! As I look at her, I keep thinking that there is a story out there about her---there has to be, for her face says so. ;) Very nice piece.
